How to make an appointment
Before contacting us, please consider the following.
Check it's not an emergency.
Call 111 or 999 for urgent medical help if you have any of these as your request will not be seen immediately.
- Crushing chest pain and tightness
- New drooping on one side of the face, slurred speech, difficulty raising your arms, weakness, or numbness on one side of your body.
- Severe difficulty breathing
- Heavy bleeding that won't stop
- Severe injuries
- Feeling suicidal, wanting to harm yourself, or others.

NON-URGENT PRE-BOOKED APPOINTMENTS
Please call the surgery after 12.00pm to book a non-urgent appointment for the next day or up to two weeks in advance.

Appointment are currently operating as a telephone triage system. Your call will be placed on the doctors Triage list for a call back the same day. If the doctor feels they need to see you for a face-to-face appointment, this will be arranged.
Please give the call handler as much details as possible regarding your health problem. This information will help the clinician determine the urgency of your call so that we can prioritise clinically urgent queries.
Please notify reception on booking if you have any preference regarding which doctor you wish to see. We will always do our best to place you with a doctor of your choice but please understand that may not always be possible.

HOME VISITS
A Home Visit is provided when a patient who is house bound and unable to attend the surgery, or a resident in a care/nursing home are too unwell to attend the surgery.
OUT OF HOURS
Should you need to access to a doctor outside of surgery hours, please call NHS 111
NURSE / HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT CLINICS
All Nurse clinic appointments are available to book in advance.
These staff are vital to the wellbeing of our patients and can help/advise on a vast range of medical conditions including:
- Cervical Smear tests
- Minor Illness / Wound care and dressings / Blood pressure checks
- Chronic disease clinics: Diabetes, respiratory, heart disease etc
- Lifestyle advice
BLOOD TESTS
Blood tests are by appointment only. This is to prevent patients waiting for long periods in the surgery. Blood test appointments are available from 8.30am Monday to Friday. Please ring the surgery to book.
